Does anyone here have any GM Restoration Packages? I am gathering ALL YEARS worth and are looking for scanned images of the "Interior/Exterior Color Combination page" that is in the packages.. Sometimes also titled "Seat Style & Trim Combinations"

A restoration Package is a "history" book (approx. 75 pages) that GM will send to your house. Call 1-800-222-1020 and ask for the "Restoration Package". They will ask for your VIN and address. I personally have been given the run around and seem to be hard to get them to send you one. I was told by a customer service rep who answered the phone that they don't do this anymore. One was VERY rude about it, and the other did not know what I was talking about..

But anyway, if anyone here has one for their year camaro, please do reply.

I am looking to have a collection for ALL 35 years worth of the Interior/Exterior Color Combo charts for use on the site. GM only sends 1 per registered VIN to which you are the owner of the car and so I am hoping some enthusists here would be willing to help me out. I personally could get the 1992 package for my 1992 Camaro however unless I owned another Camaro, I cannot get one for any other year. This is where you guys come in. :-)

As a *** THANK YOU GIFT *** to those who do decide to contribute the "Interior/Exterior Color Combination" page to us for use on the site, we will give you a FREE Camarosource.ca Membership Card. (Complete with your own car and info on the card). Including AUTOMOTIVE RELATED DISCOUNTS.

http://www.camarosource.ca/main_new_sit ... etails.htm

What we are looking for is the following. Anyone who has any year GM Repoduction Package (1967 thru 2002). We need people to send us the Interior/Exterior Color Combination sheet. Either by the following ways:

1. Scanned & emailed [PREFERED if possible]
2. Digital Photographed (close enough that we can clearly see what the text says)
3. Photocopy the page<s> (Believe it's only 1 page) and mail it to us.

An example of what this table looks like would be the sample from the 1989 Camaro package:

Again, if you decide to help contribute us this, we will mail your own FREE Personalized, Laminated, Highl Res full color card with your own Car (or any car pic) and info as a THANK YOU GIFT for your contribution.

Thank you all for your help.

US Yes.. 1 for each registered VIN that you are the owner of. But Canadians apparently must pay. Not sure how much.

So far, I've received 3 years "1970, 1971 & 1991" Thanks!

Course that leaves 32 years left. ;-)

Please, if you have these restoration packages (other than 70, 71, or 91), please do let me know.

Remember, you get your free Camarosource.ca Membership card when you do. :-)

Thanks again.

Wow, that sounds neat, I will give them a call on Monday. I have a '95. So I will let you know what comes of the conversation, and let you know when I get it.

4. For these people to then scan 1 or 2 charts from the book.

They will ONLY send you the package for the YEAR Camaro in which the VIN you give them is YOUR Camaro. If you're not the owner, they won't send it. Canadian's have to pay $45, so we are asking US residence for their help.

What's up with that? The euro-spec Camaros have different stuff in the interior. Like the Firebird seats. You would think you would want to have a complete listing...

Chevy says it's in the mail. Let you know when I get it. Sounds like alot of good reading about my car in there.
