Does the bmw wheels with 5*120mm fit on the f-body...I figure since that's just .6mm off the f-body bolt pattern....lets say a 18*8.5 with 35mm in offset?

with aprr 2.3 cm of bead flange thickness(flanges on the outer edge of the wheels that hold the tire beads on the rim)

I get for stock 16*8:
Offset = 55mm,2.165"
Backspace = 6.615"
Frontspace = 2.28"

BMW 18*8.5:
Offset = 35mm,1.378"
Backspace = 6.08"
frontspace = 3.32"

So they will stick out appr 3.32-2.28=1.04" 26.4 mm further out....
I think I've seen som wheels somewhere for the f-body with 3.8" frontspace...so it should work fine right?

Opinions?

Thnx.

Yes, they will fit fine. Numerous fbody owners have gone this route, seeing as how there are so many more wheels available for the bimmer. ;)
