Today my new Boyd Coddingtons Smoothies 2 were mounted and I like it very much.

The rims are 8x18 and 9x18 with tires Goodyear Eagle F1 in 245x40 and 275x35R18.

Lusi, how's the British vehicle inspection process? Is it hard to get things like exhaust approved?

What British system is that then? So far as new cars are concerned, they have to comply with the usual EU regs but after that, you have total freedom to do what the hell you like to your intake, exhaust, wheels, whatever. All they insist on is that post 92 cars have to retain their cats and you have to pass emission tests based on the age of your car which is a walk in the park for US cars.

There is an annual test of roadworthiness called the MOT which tests all the lights, brakes, structural soundness, steering, tyres etc of the car and ensures it is safe to use on the road but that's it. I used to shudder come MOT time but now it's a pretty safe bet the car will pass.

Lusi, that's awesome, I was just wondering how similar to the German system it was/is.
