I need for my Boyd Coddington Smoothies 2 something, what´s called in Germany "Festigkeitsgutachten"
I need it for the german TUEV.
Can someone tell me, if the company Boyd Coddingten might have that or something similar ?? - and for what I would have to ask in an email to them. Is it something like expert of firmness or what would be the right expression

Sorry, must have stopped reading shortly after the company name
What he's looking for is a certificate that states the pressure the wheel can take / car weight / strength of the material ... don't recon any company not actively selling in Germany big time would go through the trouble of getting that certification ... at least not any that might be accepted by TÃœV ... TÃœV generally is a major PITA ...

Outch. Hopefully you can get that Gutachten somewhere (I don´t want to sound like a a-hole, but didn´t you check before you bought those?).
Making one is serious money and i think four wheels get destroyed (or are at least of no use anymore) due to testing...

Not to be an asshole Martin, but if they can't help you out, and you need to get rid of them, I will buy them. I hope they will be of some help, though!

Thanks for your help
@Chris
I knew the risk before ordering the rims, it will be no prob to drive them without TÃœV - but it would be nicer to have it
@Jack
Tnx for the E-Mail contacts and the offer to buy them - I think I´ll drive them of my own
Today I wrote that email:
Dear Boyd Coddington,
some weeks ago I bought at TBYRNE Motorsports Boyd Coddington Smoothies II for my car (8x18 front 9x18 rear). I am writing from Germany, the market, for what you build your wheels too and I need a certificate (or a copy of it)from you about that the Smoothies II are load tested and fatigue tested.
I hope that with this certificate it is possible to get the german technical O.K. at the TUEV.
Btw., the wheels look great, a picture can be seen at http://www.martinerne.de/maro/boyd.jpg
Looking forward to your post, here´s my address:
So I will wait, if someone will answer
Have a nice eastertime- see you at bitburg ....
Martin

I've had the same rims on my 4,000 lb. pickup truck for almost 3 years - I think you'll be fine.
