Anybody planing on ordering some Zaino? After finally cleaning my car after two tough weekends, I found my right side being a total mess, probably from the "burnout" I did in Luckau ... desperately need a clay bar ...

Hi Garry,
after all the hassle trying to order some parts from US I thought its better to pay double price and buy ZAINO in Germany. But a quick look on their German homepage was enough: They do not sell in Germany anymore for some legal (maybe environmental) reasons.

If you are going to order some ZAINO from US we could share the shipping cost. I am sure a lot of people are keen for ZAINO.
Can you organize some group purchase?
This would be a real benefit for all.

BTW: This topic should be located in APPEARANCE.
But for you it should be no problem to relocate this thread!

@85Z28:

Yeah, it would be great, if you could order some ZAINO from US!

I would like the kit ZKIT-1 for 84,70USD.
You would need to send this by mail to my private address as I will not come to any events like Bitburg. I can pay in advance (money transfer).

If such group purchase would work than this Club would make some more sense.

Bye!
Gunnar

BTW: I cannot find you in the members list and private message did not work!

Why won't you be coming to any events, like Bitburg?

Did you write to them and ask about the APO? My last order went through a cousin, so I don't know if they still did back then ...

I'm thinking about getting some of their leather stuff, too ... or does anybody know a good leather treatment for seats? Both my 'maro and the MR could use some ...

to 85Z28:
You could send this by German Post to my place, no problem.
Sending a parcel up to 5kg (approx 10pounds) costs 6,70EUR (approx 8USD) within Germany. The ZKIT-1 weights only 5,4pounds.
You do not need to rush, the summer has not even started!
This rainy weather makes me sick!

to Garry: I just use some Sonax Leather Care. The Grey leather looks cheap and so I do not use any expensive care products.
Maybe for convertibles it is more important, as the leather gets more exposed to sunlight and (by accident) rain.

You need to get with one of the people who sell it for them. There's a guy on CZ28 named Kevin, who will send it to an APO. Just go to the appearance/Show and shine forum and search for him! ;)

Do you happen to have an extra clay bar?

Just got back in from the car... too cool for a decent car wash, but cleaned all the black spots ... all gone, even the rag top is white now.

J/K ...

But honestly - if you ever fought with some deceased bugs, road sap or other unidentifyable sticky stuff on the paint of your car - get yourself a claybar --- stuff I couldn't get off with soaking and minutes of intense but careful rubbing just came off by moving the claybar over it a couple times ... hardly any pressing, just gliding over it ... them Zaino brothers sure produce some incredible stuff ...

If we do a GP with Zaino next spring, I need some extras ... ;)

P.S. - thanks again, Linda & Jerry, for your extra ... IOU ...
