I need soon new tires. What do you think, would be good for me? I need 275/40 ZR 17 for street, only one or two times a year racing. But most is for street, no winter.
In the moment i´m driving BFG G-FORCE, but they have only about 2 - 3 mm.
Where can i buy them cheap and will they send them to germany? What cost shipping?
Is someone of you ordering new tires in the near future? Maybe we can order together and make better prices.

Well I just ordered four tires 275/35/18 Pirellis from tirerack.com and they only charged me $56 for shipping plus they got very low prizes especially for summer tires. You should check it out. I dont know if you have an APO adress but shipping would be be way cheaper if you did. But you always have your military FBE members that can hook you up!

I can back up my recommendation (I have a few national titles under my belt and have tried most):
Michelin Pilot Sport II

Jens,
For an overall street tire that will see an occasional track day I would stick with the BFG KDW. They where great tires (cheap price) and got really good milage out of them. As you know Tire rack has them too. Summit Racing also has them (cheaper than tire rack), I put the KDWIIs on and they are awesome IMHO. I can't speak for the Michelins but Stef does have serious driving time.

ok, i think, i will buy the BFG G-Force KDW
But summit racing is 30 Dollar per piece more expensiive than tirerack.
Is someone of you ordering new tires in the near future?
