I'm getting my motor washed at a friend's tomorrow, and as he has a lift, I was going to take the oportunity and do my calipers ... what do you think looks better - red or yellow? Imagine this car: Red should fit, yellow would a bit of a contrast ... I'm leaning towards red ... somebody have a good example picture with a red car and painted calipers?

Yellow's not bad, but I would go with red. Boy do you need a drop kit!! Mine was the same way for quite a while, though!! Did you buy those wheels on the economy??

To lower? hey, I got a hard time getting into my garage as it is without scraping the air duct underneath ... The wheels came from the previous owner already - 235 and 255 40R17 ... I also got a set of 215s in chrome... they look pretty nice, too ...

Never been a fan of red. BUT go Red! And drop that baby like Jack suggested. You think your car is low now? The air dam doesn't scrape at all on mine and when it does so what. No one looks down there anyways! LOL

I will hold you responsible for my car scraping John. You convinced me to get the long tubes (they havent got here yet). Those with the Eibach Pro-kit and HAL shocks (only got the springs and the rear shocks because of back order). I'm worried about bottoming out on manhole covers, and it aint the airdam I'm worried about, if you know what I mean

I also never liked the factory 4WD Fbody look, eventhough we have a lot of speedbumps here and the car easy gets grounded (due to long nose) i DID decide to lower it.
I used the Eibach Pro Kit which solved the 'problem' quite a bit PLUS it improved handling !
I've replaced my shocks in Favor of the Billsteins and this dropped it a bit more, ask Roy.
On top of that i also have Ground FX and i YET have to ground the car !!
Granted that i DO take special care and simply avoid certain spots.
That Airdam WILL ALWAYS scrape, even with the stock springs and that's no biggy as it's flexible.
Like i said, i yet have to scrape the nose itself.
Take bumps carefully or at an angle if needed.
Go for it Gerry,
