Is there anywhere in the Spang/Ramstein area that does good engine bay cleaning and detailing? After last winter my engine is in need of a good clean. I will not use the auto hobby shop on base after the last time I talked to the fat old guy that works in there. Customer service is not his strong suit.

I always clean mine at the car wash, there is usually a motor cleaner setting. I do it just about everytime I wash my car so it stays really clean. Just dont use any type of spray motor cleaner because it will make your aluminum look crappy.

The car wash at Ramstein has heated water. As long as your engine isn't caked in oil residue you shouldn't need a degreaser.
