F-Body Europe

well I did run the 1/8 this fri, and once again I had the quickest F-body (not bragging, it is a fact at that particular day).

The car is just not running right. I dont know if the rings are shot, PCM has some bad tuning for my combo or what, but I dont see me running it again anytime soon until this gets worked out.

I really smoked up the track let me tell you.

anyway bottom line it ran a 8.67 @ 83mph, on a 2.13 '60. I know there is more in it, and I wonder what it really would pull to in the 1/4. Guessing 13.20@112, but who knows.

Favorite moment had to be lineing up against this guy who trailered a 3rd gen to the track. In the pre-stage lanes he started it up and I thought my windows were gonna blow out, anyway we run, I break the lights a touch over 8secs later, and he runs a killer 10.23!!! Maybe a fluke? Nawww, next run we get called up togethor again. ....Same:)

To give you an idea of how people were running, a stock bullit stang 9.6, a 95 5.0 10.1, a 01 4.6 (bolt-on) 10.0, 99 Bird 8.8, 95 Z 9.1.........alot of imports 11-12.XX

.........also had a marathon bolt on session with the coupe today. Its going to the track friday. 8's or bust is the goal.

Nice numbers Rob. Considering and all. I can't believe there isn't anyone in OK that can give you a challenge. Looking at the OK club there there are some stout cars maybe just not in your area.
