Jack! Can you give us a detailed listing as far as what mods your putting on?
Lost track.....Wheels SS, Corsa, Hotcam, FLP's, is there anything else we should know? You are goin on a extreme shopping spring. Hell you might as well put the Hydra-Rev Kit in there too. Don't tell you are getting heads too............?

OK, since you are asking, I am, in fact, splurging!! I'm getting the chrome SS wheels(17X9.5), Bridgstone S02 tires, Powerslot rotors/Hawk brake pads, Hurst roll control/line lock, FLP long tube headers, Corsa catback, white faced gauges, the LS1 Hot Cam, and probably the Bilstein HD shocks, unless someone convinces me otherwise. I've been good, up until now, but it's my turn to mod up!! I think that should be enough for a while, but if you can think of anything else, within reason, let me know!!

I have been stareing at mine for about 8 months, it ships with the overlay, a 1 page instruction manual, and a 6 inch pry bar. (atleast mine)
I'm going to tackle it soon, but it is pretty tedious looking/sounding.
Look into braided brake lines if they dont come with what you have planned, and some ...gulp... Ford brake fluid.
That Hydra-Rev kit doesnt sound like a bad idea either.
I'm not sure if your FLP kit comes with O2 sims, but you will have to have them, and maybe a poly tranny mount and/or a adjustable torque arm since we are shopping.
One question, why dont you want the HAL shocks?
Merry Xmas
Rob

Jack....
Do not do the poly tranny mount. There was a big discussion on LS1 about them. Most everyone who bought them discarded them and went back to stock.. Something about noise and not much better than stock. This is for the LS1........

Hell while you're at it might as well get a shift guage pod or a harlan shift lite. I think I'm gonna do that next along w/ the power steering delete pulley set-up from moreperformance. It's sweet! 149 smackers though........

Randy, FLP is Finish Line Performance, or something like that. They are full length. I've heard some bad stuff about the SLP headers, plus they're more expensive. I don't think I need the 02 sims, unless I put the off road pipes on. I'll prolly order them, too, though. John, a shift light would be OK, but I don't really like how they look..

I am pretty sure that the FLP (maybe now they do) LT's do not have rear O2 bungs (or behind the cat O2 hookups). Also, you are moving the cats further downstream so I dont know if that will change the data that your computer sees and possible set off a DTC. If your kit is anything like mine you will have to remove your oil cooler also because of clearance issues.
No LT setup is emissions legal - even if it passes the sniffer, you are not allowed to alter the location of the cat. (I'm sure no tester will no were its supposed to be, but a decent GM mech will)
The should really wake up your car though, I saw a dyno slip were they added 24hp 30+tq across the board!!

I have heard good things about the FLP's I would reccomend a smaller cam. unless that is what you want Roys sounds goooood, but you should up the rev -limiter to get the HP's from the cam I spin mine to 6600 all the time with the Hyper tech they reprogram WOT It really woke up the LS1 mid-range and pulls hard to 6600 with the stock cam. I talked to Tony I told him I wanted more HP he reccomended LT headers, LS6 intake and 1.85 roller rockers. On top of what I have would put me over 400hp with a stock Idle, runing mid 12's at the track. If I went with stage II heads bigger valves it would be 40-50 more to much money right now.
