Had a good time at Bitburg this weekend. It was the first time running my car in the 1/4 mile. I gotta admit, my driving sucked. I couldn't get into 13's. Saw a bunch of F-body's there and a few club members I got a chance to meet. Also got to see Hawk school a yellow Ferrari, forgot what model it was, but I know it cost over a 100k, that race wasn't even close.

Ferrari was a 360 Modena (SP?), yellow ... I'm not sure, but I think the first two runs must have been made by someone else than the next two - the report on how he stayed at the line against bruce, and losing (!) against an Opel I think the second time, again sleeping and not putting the hammer down was embarassing ... the third and fourth run were kind of neat, but wouldn't have made Bruce break a sweat ... ;)
Having the rain come in around noon today sucked, but oh well - can't complain too much - my only run had a .538 R/T, which was enough for third place (second was a .530) of best R/Ts on Sunday ... would have been nicer to go for it head to head on E/T, but ...

How bad can you feel about putting a spanking on a 160K car!

Hawk, do you really expect any of us to believe that you really felt bad about spanking a Ferrari? You loved every second of it.

Especially the ones after he already crossed the finish line, and the Ferrari had not ... ;)

I would say that was skull drug and not a mere spanking. I got over it pretty quick but something tells me he will not be back?

There was a blue turbo @ the track but let some one else have the honors. He looked kinda slow.
