I'm using 2001 Audi S6 Avant as my family transportation and daily driver. For those who don't know, 4,2 l. V8, 340 hp., AWD, 6-speed manual. It's heavy car, 1790 kg. curb weight.
This car is definetly not made for drag racing, so I just made one pass from pure curiosity. The results were better than I expected (hoped to get 13,9x):
60-ft: 1,898
ET: 13,784
Speed: 155,468 kmh (appr. 96,6 mph).

We have few Audis here, which are used for drag racing, quickest one runs high 12's. But he is using couple of gearboxes and differentials per season. Clutch seems to hold up well. So it's quite expensive fun.

Audi S6 as daily driver Wow. I would already be happy to own a second car...
Nice car! I don´t like the whole Volkswagen corporation at all, but the Audi S-series is definitely the exception to this.

After seeing two AWD Audis get sideways off the line this weekend, I have a newfound respect for Audi.. This just goes to show you, never underestimate your opponent, even if it is a stationwagon!!!!
