I´m just curious - this car is sold in Germany as Opel Frontera 3.2?

Not sure - the outside looks similar, but not that similar ... !? Guess you need to check whether they are indeed the same (at least as long as the engine is concerned)

Opel is GM. As for numbers, these may(not) help:
Giebelstadt: DSN 352-7755/7225 CIV Prefix 09334-8-
Kitzigen: DSN 355-2744 CIV Prefis 09321-70-

Isuzu is essentially GM as well. My friend has a '99 Amigo and her V6 has the same TB as my '01 SS does... kind strange.

http://www.opel4x4.de/body_mittelklasse.php (sorry, german)
Isuzu Rodeo (USA)
Honda Passport (USA)
Isuzu Wizard (Japan)
Vauxhall Frontera (England)
Opel Frontera (Germany)
Holden Frontera (Australia)
Isuzu Frontier (South Africa) (special body...)
All equipped with the 3.2 V6 and all nearly the same
The only one that makes no sense is the Honda, but perhaps they just wanted to save money...

over here in grafenwoehr vilseck and hohenfels if you won't find an engine but you might find a totalled one with a good engine.
I'll keep an eye out but right now i have not seen any or SUV's for that matter- except in auto classifieds.
