King Snake
TNT Motorsports, a Houston based Viper tuner, was started by Roy and Joe Terpstra, who started tuning Dodge Vipers while working at John Hennessey. The brothers at TNT have put together a radical, $36,995 performance package for the Dodge Viper called "King Snake". The King Snake's 705 horsepower comes from 520 cubic inches of displacement with 10.2:1-compression pistons, billet steel rods, a roller camshaft, three-inch stainless exhaust with a high flow cat, a custom-machined forged crankshaft with a 6.6mm stroke increase and a carbon-fiber and aluminum induction system. If that's not enough power, for an additional $6000, you can have TNT install freer-flowing heads to increase the power to 777 horsepower and the torque at 703lb-ft. As expected, the King Snake's performance is breathtaking: 0-60 time clocks in at 3.6 seconds and the quarter mile at 11.4 seconds at 131mph, surpassing even the heralded Hennessey Venon 650R in trap speed. Top speed is pegged at 208 mph, making it the fastest Viper in the land. The King Snake's interior upgrades feature high quality carbon fiber trim designed to complement the leather interior.
