of fast is it a 14 sec car, 13 or just 10s are fast to you. What I want to know is what time is cosidered a fast car in your own opinion. To me a car isnt fast until it hits 13s. I know traction and all that is a factor but lets say it hooks good and all. Some people think a 10 sec car is fast and the rest are nothing but to me 13s are fast.

I think my car is prety fast. It only goes 14's now, but I'm kinda happy with that. I think the benchmark is 15's. Cause anything slower than that is damn near walking speed. It takes some power to do anything less that 15's.

I'd say anything under 14.5 is considered at least street fast.

It really depends on the car for me. If I see a civic with a few bolt ons run low 14s or 13s, that is fast. If I see an fbody run 13s, that is fast.

To me a 14s car is already fast (compared to everything else you see everyday on the streets),
12s pretty damn fast
and 10s "oh my god.".

It's all pretty subjective. Mine runs 13.8 and I consider that to be fast. But when I do runs and they stray into the 14's, I'm still convinced I was going fast and only the time slip says there's a difference. However, compared to the 16's my last Z28 ran, anything's fast. But a lot of cars run 13's and as more cars run 13's, 13's are no longer fast and you have to aim for 12's to stand out.

If I can get into the 12's with my Z06, I'll be quite happy.

I would have to say fast for me is definatly in the 11s not 13s or 12s. My car ran a best of 13.6 in stock form and It still felt slow. I've driven the LS1 f-bodys that can run atleast a 12.9 stock and they felt slow so that's why I'm saying 11s is fast or atleast until I drive somthing in the 10s. I really don't even think my car is all that fast anymore and I know I can pull off a very low 12 if not a TT faster once shes finished. I guess it's all what your used to and with the motor you've built you should be looking at high to mid 10s on slicks and gears. This is just my 2cents I don't want any of you punk A$$ ls1 owners getting Pi$$ed. J/k :)

As I don't drive my Camaro everyday but instead a 58hp R5, it always feels fast, at least on the street. :)
