It seems everytime there is a meet where we can race the cars, I have a field exercise. Like this weekend, I am in the field, and Bitburg as well. The one time I am not in the field, I bring the car and its just a show only. Baah humbug! Just venting.
I am back from leave on the 6th of sep., when is the next gathering where we can race? Doesnt have to be organized racing, I'd rather it not. Maybe just meet in a parking lot somewhere to BS and run. I havent raced since Rob was here, and the sickness is getting worse. Can we plan somthing?

Jeff,
You are not using all of your available resources. I am sure there is atleast one other person in your unit who likes to race. Just bet him that your HMMWV or 5-ton is faster than his. There you have it.............. Racing in the field........

I have done that too! My M-35a3 tool truck would pull the other M-35a3 (pll truck) by about 3mph on the autobahn, the hummers get me though! LOL

I had to leave Jeff. I can only lose so many times before I take my ball and go home .
But hey, if it gets to boring, just run up and down A5 with open headers again !!

Yep Rob, you had to leave me, you were the only dude who was down this side of the Rhein. The few times me and you went at it, barely squeezing a 1/4 pannel on you each race was the 1st and last time over here in Germany I had a real race, and a good one for that matter.
What do you guys think about just meeting somewhere to BS run the cars and go eat or somthing afterwards? When I am not in the field of course!

If your looking for a race don't feel bad i'm in the sorta same boat. Everytime there's an event I'm stuck on EAC or the most recent problem my cars down. It should be back up soon so if you want to put your 96 up against my 96 i'm all for it. When we get board of racing we can go and terrorize the small towns. lol

O.K Lets get this thing going. I am in Darmstadt. Where is everything else located so we can get a halfway point for everyone? Does anyone know of a place to run near them? Preferably with a hangout spot nearby? There's a decent strip of road here in Darmstadt, but its pull over, let traffic go by then pull back out and run em sort of thing. Does anyone have any where more convienient? I dont mind driving a bit. We need a video camera there also for recording. My unit is in the field till tomorrow if I am lucky which means that this saturday would be good, or they come back sunday if I am unlucky which means that I couldnt make it this weekend.
Lets plan this!
