The new Car Craft has a couple of articles on the LS1. The first article is on a baseline they did on a new LS1 crate engine with the Corvette exhaust manifolds. The got over 400 hp on it. It sounds like they are going to do a series of articles as they do mods to it. The other articles are on the various LS1 heads, including the truck heads. Has some interesting information. For example, it explains the differences in the casting processes. Some heads apparently are worth an extra 4 to 7 hp becuse of the casting process used. It even shows the critical areas during porting. It's definitely worth reading.

I bought that mag. It has some good stuff in it. I really like the fuel rail covers and the matching intake manifold. That looks badass.
