Ok, so I get into work. I check tools and trucks. (We do this every shift). Then, I sit down and sip on my coffee and check my email. Well, just who would walk in, but my commander. It used to be a big deal, but not anymore.
So, anyways, he walks around our hanger and looks at everything. He tells my shop chief a laundry list of things that need to get cleaned up. Now, we don't have a lot of broke airplanes, but we have additional duties we have to deal with. We have a huge inspection coming up.
Now my shop chief is what we call a pinger. He goes crazy anytime someone comes into the hangar. "We gotta get on this guys!"
Whatever. I went outside, smoked a cigarette and then took the rest of the morning sweeping up the parking lot. I didn't hear anything else from him for a while.
That's all for that day. Oh, and now I'm sick as hell. My friends have Halo 2, but my ass got the flu, so I stayed in bed all day today. Damn you fate! Damn you!!
