I'm dropping the Z off this evening to get painted, finally. Hopefully it will be done in ~2 weeks. I have been wanting to do this for a while, but I just couldn't justify to the wife why I needed the extra money, so that is why I sold the parts. Man- I didn't realize how much power those headers added. The car feels so much slower it's not even funny. :( I am seriously thinking about selling it, so if any of you know anyone who is looking to spend 10,000 Euros or $12,500 for a nice Z, let me know! I am going to have a lot less money to spend until I graduate, so the toy really needs to go. I'll buy a hooptie while I'm in school, and then I will get another one once I graduate. It is going to be something old though, like a 1st gen Camaro, 1st gen Mustang, Nova SS, Chevelle SS or a GTO (old one). Something along those lines. Thanks for reading. ;)

YO! You are getting it painted? Where and who? You sold the headers and what put manifolds back on? Damn! As much as you've been through w/ that car you might as well keep it.

Same color- I'm just getting those nasty holes on the rear filled, and getting the holes in the rocker panels filled/painted. Depending on the price, I might also get the rear panel painted red (AGAIN) and shaved like yours John!

I know you're right John, but my wife is so sick of it. I know she won't MAKE me sell it, but if I did she'd let me buy just about anything else. It's THAT bad. :(

No, but I wish I could get the whole thing repainted a different color. If I hold on to it, I will when I get back to the ole' US.

then don't paint it now. Better wait till you get to us and get it repainted in a color you want. Which one would it be? ;)

I really like the color of my car, and I could use the money I would pay for a completely new paint job for go fast goodies or appearance mods- like a new hood.

Jack, this sentence is slightly incoherent.
Anyway, I don't know about the USofA, but change a car's color in Europe and you are guaranteed not to be able to sell it again (unless you do an engine out, windows out paint job or lower the selling price substantially). It's rather ugly when you have a 2-tone every time you lift the hood.
