I'm sad to report that I am safe in San Antonio, Texas and not in Germany where real beer is available.
We (the famliy and I) arrived on 11 Dec, got into the house on the 15th...stuff can't be delivered until 3 Jan. The Camaro and the Trans Am won't be here for another 4 weeks yet. 3400 lbs of Camaro parts and tools will be here from Cali on the 10th.
I bought a truck 2 days ago...wait...this is Texas...I live here now...that should go without saying. All I need now is a car trailer...

My time in Germany was short in comparison to my other tours (11 years in Japan) but it was good (I am glad to be away from the hell that is Ramstein however).
It was good to be able to meet many of you. F-Body Europe has come a long way since I first met John Silas just about 4 years ago. Our "club" was nothing more than maybe 8 or 9 Camaro/Firebirds meeting in the Ramstein BX parking lot...

Anyway, hope this finds all of you guys well and hope to see some you again.
Happy Holidays F-Body Europe....

Peace...out

Barry

You'll enjoy Texas, and I'll be there in less than 3 months, so rest assured knowing that Barry!

theres more then 8 or 9 f-bodys meeting nowdays.

jk. I wouldn't know because I never go to the things. part of the reason is I don't have a f-body over here. and the other reason is my wife doesn't like to leave our little apartment. the one meeting I went to I lost everybody on the way to the go carts cause I am retarded. my wife wasn't in town at that time thats how I got to go. hehe

Barry glad you made it there safely. Now tell me about San Antonio! We leave in 6 mos and hopefully it'll be on our list to choose from. That's where we want to go next! You said you bought a house? Man that was quick dude. You are gonna have to post some pics of it. :) I know you are a busy man esp just getting there but keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Good thing about TX for sure is you can fly on the highways w/out too much worry......now it's not the same kinda flying we do here but compared to other states it is. :D Man I hope we get TX too.

Thanks guys...I'll still be here to take in the "Wisdom of Jason"...

John, I love this place so far.... I decided to lease a house so we can take our time to find the one we want in an area we like. The house we leased is 3600 sq/ft with a 2 car garage. Plenty of room for MY stuff (tools, parts, etc :D ) Had to buy a fridge, washer, dryer and some other small stuff..but its cool.
I bought a 2003 Dodge Durango SLT...really nice truck with room for the kids. Came with tow package and is loaded including a DVD player. I rented a car when I got here...a 2005 Dodge Magnum...sweet car with the V8! I caught myslef doing nearly 100MPH on the interstate the other day...I didn't even realize I was doing it until the wife asked how fast I was going :P I wonder how long I can use the crutch that I just returned from Germany...

Jack...maybe see you in a few months then...keep in touch

And Johhny...I'll definitely be missing the mini-meetings at Kapaun watching Jack taking out the tranny in his car

... I won't miss Jason though... (NBL Jas!)
