I know the Alpina B3 has 280hp and ~3200 pounds stock, I think the M3 is rated a bit higher ... an F-Body has around 3600 pounds and how many HP? What I meant with competition is that it will at least give a (stock) LS1 a run for its money, instead of just being left in the dust ... ;)

Hell I will run him at the Nuerburgring. Have him come down to the slalom event and I will run him there as well. 1/4 mile sure I will run him and I will looose as I have a "stock" car to run with. Hope he is around summer 2007 when the car is finished.

Stock gearing on a SRT4 will not get you 180 mph top end unless you can turn 9000rpm. With a 3.82 I am out of gearing at 162mph and like 7200rpm.
