So, this guy has a 1971 Z28 he wants to sell. It has a 327 and TH350, but I want a big block and 4 speed. So, he's keeping the drivetrain.
$2500 takes it. My question, take it or leave it? It has very little rust. No interior (everything is set up for the quarter mile)

Jason,
There are ALOT of better deals out there to be had. You have to get out and look around. I would say that if it was running and had NO rust maybe, but no drivetrain and some rust, keep looking. When you set up for 1/4mi does that mean caged & tubbed???

I agree with Val on this one. I bought a rolling chassis 70 Chevelle for $600 a few years back. Just keep looking around. If this car was fully caged, tubed, with gauges and electronics then I would think about it. Good luck.

Well, he says its got mini tubs. All the suspension is set up.
I'll hold off. Good thing I asked. What would be a good price? $1000?
