I decided to have my car shipped. I still do not have it yet so I am going through withdrawals right now.

I am currently in Voglweh TLF and have just rented a place in Kuzel. I am suprised at how many f-bods I see around here. I hope to mingle soon.

Oh well, can't wait to get moved in officially and have my car. I would really like to see some track time now that I upgraded my suspension.

Welcome to Germany
When you say track time do you mean 1/4 mile or roadcourses /slaloms?

Are you flying solo? I maybe going up to the Nüburgring this weekend. You're more than welcome ride along with me if you want. Drag racing May 20th. Hope your car makes it before then.

I just found out my car is not due until May 2oth  and it is going to be at Bramerhaven so I have to go get it.

I hope to get some new 1/4 times in with the new suspension. It probably won't help much, but I sure would like to break the 13.5 hurdle on the stock 130K mile motor. Eventually I would love to do some autocrossing, but I don't know a lot about that type of setup. I think I am setup kind of half and half right now.

TurboManiacal- thanks for the offer, but I will be up in Weisbaden this weekend. I will however make it up to the track ASAP. What are the costs? Is there a lot of cars there? What are the preinspection criteria....and anything they look hard for?

As far as fbods, I have not seen too many. A nice one or 2. I did see a Mustang with lambo doors which kind of suprised me.

Thanks for the welcome.

d@mn, sounds like 20th is just a tad bit too late for the May 1on1 in Bitburg (20th/21st) - guess that will then be June for you ... :(
As for Nürburgring, make sure you get Roy or Ben to ride with you on the first couple rounds, unless you're after getting racing stripes (or worse) :)

I forgot to tell you the guy in the brand new SLK 55 AMG that I rode with last weekend...he was in the grass before the fourth turn (before flugplatz) scared the "He said POOP" out of me because I had been telling him...no shame in going slow....no shame in going slow...fucker wouldn't listen...great car...but inexperienced driver.

Well if you can get your car drags are on the way back sorta. If you want someone to help you get it and guide you along let us know. Lots of experienced Americans on this board.

If you're talking about Nuerburgring:
Hey, this is Germany. No track inspection, not even a helmet required. Well, if your car is excessively loud you may get kicked off the track.

Drag racing:
