The tires I have on the back are mapops they may pop now and they may pop later. Just kidding there pretty bald so in the rain it's like driving with two skies on the back. They usually hook up pretty good on the dry roads. It's the wet ones you need to worry about.

Out my rims so as soon as I figure out what I'm going to get as far as sizes I can buy my tires. I'm not worried about it to much right now I'm going to put the car away till next season next month or when it gets nasty.

It's gonna take a LOT to get to 500 RWHP unless you are not staying NA.

500 huh? Is that all? Upgrading your rod bolts for more rpms? How about a full rebuild? Try 383 or 396 (not sure yet), completely forged, any compression I choose. I'm leaning toward high compression with maybe a little happy gas to back it up a little. Just a thought (hint hint).

I'd have to agree with Jamey and Rob, you'd need a little more than heads/cam (regardless of stage) to reach 500 hp... Sounds good, though. Better get some N2O or something....
