I had my share of tickets in Germany and I think the most expensive one was less than 30euro and took less than 5 min. to pay at the bank. In VA 12mph (20km/h) over just cost me $121 and took over 30min. on the phone with the courts to figure out how much it was and who to call to pay it.

as long as Rick was here in Germany he was getting at me when I went faster than 120 km/h with my SUV on the Autobahn

past month when we went on the I-10 to Jacksonville he had his cruise bit high and the Trooper came out of the ditch with the reds on = run down off ramp and hide behind Dairy Queen ...
that was the first time in 8 years he passed me the car keys "a woman may get away with it"

FHP is slow and fat. Only reason they caught Wesley Snipes that he crashed his bike getting off I95.

Where on I-10?

all the distance driving I did on the Interstates was behind trucks that usually went around 10mph too fast ... ;) saved fuel & tickets ;)

James I can not remember, somewhere between P'cola and J'ville :P

Garry I usually do 10 - 20 over at minimum and pass the trucks, but I am female, I always get away with it :P (na - I just cruise with the faster bunch so the Troopers can not fine me, as long as I am not speeding)

Funny ... I always find it relaxing ... until I get back after three or four weeks and are totally stressed out after hitting the autobahn ... :(

Garry thats a first sign of aging :P

you find it relaxing because you simply put the cruise control in and cruise along the Highways at speed limit or slightly above.
if you really drive through rush hour traffic or drive for business etc. then it is not anymore
