My car is going to the doctor today to have the 4.10's finally installed. They give discounts to members of the COFBA (Central Oklahoma Fbody Org), 10%, also there is another speed shop there that charges $40 for 2 pulls on they're dyno (regular is $75) plus 10% off on service.

It seems that these clubs are beneficial, from Group Purchases, to track entries, to service discounts, almost any shop or event in the nation works with you.

I'm just glad that the people that think these clubs are just a couple of people sitting around trading baseball cards dont join, because they dont need discounts. (Besides, they wouldnt spend money on parts anyway, because that would be dumb also!!!)

I wonder what we can get going over here.

I got a free bottle of carwash through the f-body.com group purchase at Zaino Bros ... I mean, the GP was just a bunch of regular orders, with an extra GP code ... and the people aren't even in a club or anything, just a bunch of F-Body fans on the same message board ... a $8 value extra on a $50 order ... not too bad ... (of course the double postage first to my cousin and then to the APO address of a friend from church outweighed that, but ...)

At german places? Not much I suppose ... additionally to the mental problems the places have with giving rebates, german law has the most interesting way of assuring the german people to be protected from illegal things like e.g. rebates ...

Yea, those people definitely don't deserve to receive the rebates and specials entitled to those who join the club PRIMARILY to meet other enthusiasts and have fun!!
