Yeah, it sounds damn good, but I'm seriously starting to think I want to sell the Z. That means this is the first thing to go. I hope he buys it. It's a hell of a steal at $450.

Negative! I had that one, and went through 2 mufflers. What a piece of $800 garbage. :x This is the GMMG chambered, stainless steel exhaust.

No it's not, but Val already expressed interest first. I need to see if he's serious about buying it. You can hear it at http://www.jackz28.com

Jack you are thinking of sellin the car again?! Why buy a 9" for it then? Just buy a used rear and sell it like that.

John, if I was gonna sell it, I definitely wouldn't buy a 9" for it. Give me some credit man... I just want to know how bad the damage is first, and what all i would need to rebuild it.

Well I truly hope it's minor. You have been through so much w/ that car I'd hate to see you part w/ it. That car of mine is the only stress reliver I have and good therapy I might add too.

The thing that sucks is not knowing what's gonna break again, or next! I'm almost ready to cut my losses, and call it a day. :(

Jack I had my rearend break in germany and it was a pain in the ass. There is a place in k-town that will rebuild it for you or another cheap option for you. This is what I did to fix mine after the bad luck I had. If you order another set of 3:42s from gm or anywhere else you should be able to install them on the posi unit and use the stock spacers since the gear ratio didn't change. It's when you go bigger you run into problems with the spacing between the ring and pinion gear. You could always call ray up the mustang AF guy on ramstein (john knows his #) he'll charge you but not much he's a really easy going guy who knows his $hit. good luck

oh yeah it's not really that hard to change the whole thing yourself. John and I did it in about 4hrs.

If an Army guy and a cook can do it in 4 hours, then it shoudln't take 4 hours for an average person! :P :P :P

So Ryan, what went on yours? Was it the diff, or the gears or both? I really don't want to buy a new rear, but I also don't want to fix this one, and then have it break again.
