I was wondering if there was anything planned for the next couple of weekends. I will be over there on Wednesday and staying for a couple of weeks. Plan on finally getting my car fixed. I guess Dave beat me.

2 weeks? Is that a slight exaggeration?

Tony.. I get my money back and ship that sucker INOP. Wouldn't be surprised if it was sitting in the same state it was when you dropped it off. IF not thats a miracle. Sorry to be so crass but it is what it is.

Cool! Welcome!!!
I think he's in Heidelberg now, but the cars aren't ...
Btw, Rob, are you staying through May 1/2? If so, you're welcome in Bitburg ;)
Otherwise, with the nice weather (hopefully) back around, maybe we can meet somewhere for a little cruise or something ... !?

John... don't apologize man. I have been beating myself up over this for awhile. I guess it's my trusting nature. I just want it done though. I would ship it Non-Op, but with all the parts in the car, I don't think they would ship it, and if I gotta ship all that separate, then I should just put it together and ship it.

Gerry... I do know where his new shop is. I had to get my car and tow it there before I PCS'd. When he said it will take 5 days.

Kevin... I will be around Gieb tomorrow probably. I am staying on Leighton for a couple of days. I gotta see that baby.

I really don't expect it to be other than I last saw it. I have until the 26th to get it shiped. Wish me luck. Thanks again for the ride, Chris. I'll see you next week.

Good luck with that assumption ...
So, will you still be here for Bitburg?

If you need a shop/place to put your car back together - my shop is in the area where your car was stored for a while...
BTW there is still some more inoperable cars in your cars ex-neighborhood from same source.

Wish you good luck and hope you get it done and shipped.

LOL! Maybe I will have to show up when they are there, to give them a little taste of what can happen.

Silke... Thank you for the offer of the shop. I will add it to the list of places that have been offered from other friends conserned with my situation. I'll keep you in mine when I figure out the status of the car. I do remember a few other cars being there. That was along way to take the cars. Or maybe there are more than one place that he has cars stored.

Garry... No I won't be able to attend the Bitburg race. I am flying to the states on the 26th. Don't take this the wrong way, but I hope both myself and my car are gone by then.

Rob

Well it's not good, but what I expected. Nothing has happened to my car since I left. I'm not surprised at all. Tony will be back tomorrow, and I will be there either tomorrow or Monday to start on my car.
