The good part is I already have installed the motor in the car and was able to run it in!!!!

MISSION COMPLETE!!! The car is back in daily driver status.
Time to start the next project.

Pretty strong and I still haven't gotten the carb tuned right yet. It does light up the tires pretty easily.
I'll take it to the dyno after about 500 miles. I think I can put it in the 12's at Bitburg with race tires and a small shot of Nitrous.
This is like high school all over again. I'm enjoying it.

What type of carb are you running? I used to be pretty good at tuning Holley's, Edelbrock's, Carter's, and Quadrajet's.

Hi,
It's one of the new 650 cfm Edelbrock Thunder AVS series. Edelbrock sent me an updated calibration chart yesterday to use.
I'll shoot you an email if I get into trouble.

For me......just a few things.
Few more CIs (24), 11.5:1CR Ceramic coated Diamond Pistons....
Forged this and that...
fully ported FR500 Heads.....
Larger injectors, Dual Fuel Pumps with BAP & Rails, Stage 3+ SPEC & Alumium PP, Adjustable Struts, Skinies, Adjustable U/L CAs, and a small (o/a 150) shot of the juice.
And a bunch of other misc. stuff......
Lots of fun!
@ 99GT,
Glad to hear the hoopty is running! Quick question......are you coming on Sat to pick up the heads? ( ) If so....do you have a time?
Naz

Naz,
You and I have the same pistons. Looks like the same rod bolts also. I am running Lunati rods though. Going to be fun next year. What did you tell me to bring? The Kitchen sink. Well, I am bringing the whole kitchen.

Yeah, running Diamond slugs ceramic and dry lubed with NOS rings package/hand fitted.
Rods are Manely and the Rod Bolts ARP 2000s , ARP mains & side bolts as well as head studs, cams and dampener. I also got me a bad a$$ ATI Superdampener that is a work of art!
Bearing are Federal Mogul HP Series Race bearings. She will be good for 9000RPMs and o/a 800+RWHP.
The heads should flow like the niagara falls and the FR500 intake is just the baddest intake in the Ford inventory!
Trying to figure out my tranny needs.....looking at a G-Force T5 with Dog Ring 1, 2 & 3rd.
For the juice trying to figure out if I want to go with either a NOS Direct Port or a NX standard. The DP will give me lots more control with no chance of puddle and KABOOM, since the FR500 intake is a dual mode intake with short and long runners activated by an stand alone EEC and window switch.
Lots more in the plans.........you will have to find out the hard way!
Naz

Whew hoo a true crash box. Rumour has it a T56 Crash box is on the Horizon from G Force. Quaife has one right now ,but for 13,000 grand, it is also sequential shift . Already got got my ignition interupt and stutter box , just need Gforce to get the T56 Crash box into production.

Roy,
Here is a link on the G-Force T56s the non-sequential shift ranges from 2-5Ks depending on options and such.
http://www.gforcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-56.asp
You could tailor your tranny to the needs. The 1-2-3 dog gears will allow me to powershift at any RPM and the 4-5 allows for a gear-whine-less enviroment on the streets. The 1-2-3 will be helical cut to cut on noise as well. You can special order your dog ring gears to have more or less tooths to aid on the streets since my hoopty is a "street-daily" driver Ill go for the more high end tooth count.

Man you guys are dropping some serious mods down this yr! Naz you still playing w/ the crack I see. Roy what do you got up your sleeve? Val I haven't seen you chime in so I assuming you got some things planned as well. Bruce has been quieter than ever so who knows what he's up too.
Spade is rebuilding as we speak and he should be a monster for sure this yr. NX, no telling what he'll do but we all know he isn't playing around either....bringing the whole kitchen. LOL!
I guess I'll just have sit back and watch all the fun from the sidelines. Bawahahahaha...........

Hope for 600RWHP with a 150 Shot. O/a 475RWHP NA.
With a good surface and track prep (1.50s 60fts or better), and me hitting all the gears cleanly it should be good for a 10 sec pass but there no way that would happen at Bitburg.
The plan calls for a little 150 shot over here and up the juice once back in the states to o/a 200 shot if I use the direct port if not, 150 will be the max because of the fuel/Nitrous puddling.
We will see since I have a few things that will need to be fine tuned and worked out and right now my input shaft is the weak link and that will keep me from getting good 60ft times since the 4V needs lots (6500+RPMs) at launch so the need for a bullet proof tranny and the G-Force is the perfect candidate!
Naz

Mike I'll try not to dissappoint you. I'd love to kiss and tell but this time I'm not saying nothing but one thing is for sure IT WILL BE DONE RIGHT. Actually I've given a pretty good clue I'm just surprised no has said anything yet.
I'll still be running the factory rear but that's OK as well. Depends on if she can take the abuse will determine whether or not the 9" goes in in 06 or 07.
NAZ she's gonna be a handful but we all know that's the best part!

Yeah, those mods will have to do for now since I have depleded most of my "stash" on this build up! Lots of pain, frustrations and cash!

HOOPTY!!! I know a lot of people who would love a hoopty like that. Including me. So when you race Hawk NA who won. and what is the average 60ft in bitburg right now is it still 2.0
