I always WANT to come, but you know how that goes... :burnout:

Angie said I can come to every race next year, but she said that this year too. We had too many visitors from the states this summer. Next year I will just bring them along!

I have a little less than 20 months to enjoy driving in Europe. I MUST drive "The Ring" at least once before I leave!

I'll keep you updated on race plans for next year.

James, be sure and let us know what racing you're doing stateside!

Rob

Rob I am not racing at all. Keith wants me to come down to VA Beach and talk with him a little. I have put a resume up on some race forums to see if I can get a hit. Take it easy on the Ring and you will have fun. I have seen very few SRT-4 Neon but a few SRT-4 Caliber.

James, this is the group i'm running with http://tidewatersportscarclub.com Last round of this year is Nov 16th, got to find out if i'm working that day. Got a minor oil leak to deal with over the winter, but not enough to keep me side-lined if I'm not working.

Rob, get your butt up to the ring. You can't miss that opportunity while you're over there. Take it easy and be smart, but get out there, you'll have a blast. Did you ever get those Hoosiers?

I've been a member of the Tidewater Mopar Club a couple times when I went through training courses at Fort Eustis in 1992 and 1998(?). They have F Bodies,.... Sort of

The Hoosier thing never happened. The guy never did get back to me. I think the hassle of shipping them made him feel like it wasn't worth his effort. James gave me some good used tires that I could SQUEEEEEZE onto my wheels. It takes two people, lots of patience and soapy water with a few cuss words thrown in to help get them on the wheels. Good thing I didn't race enough to wear any of them out yet. :( Next year I'm gonna use up some tires though!

If you also drag race there is a group of guys from your area renting a track soon for a day of racing. The cost is around $100 and it will probably be mostly Mopars, but I figured I'd throw that out there.

There are lots of bike trails and sidewalks to ride on.

The Jeep arrived in port yesterday and I hope to pick it up in the morning or on Monday.
