I´m glad that I made you happy with my redlight on sunday.
The burgundy was a Maverick.

Quote: Well then I say good job. I want more power that will make up the diffrence in weight. Gotta cruise in comfort. Jeff you coulda beat me in the 1/8th my best was 8.8. like I said my car likes the far end better. But then we woulda had to cut the light the same so who knows? FWIW you were all over me the first 1/8 as soon as I hit 3rd I settled down a little. However I have done 8.4-8.5 1/8 @140 kph in Drachten NL alot better traction. But I think everyone had to deal with it so it was fair.
My best ET on the 1/8 was a 8,07, but with slicks, a short rearend and a better track.
I will be happy to see you next year on the quarter, because this weekend I had no chance out of the hole.

Dam!! It sounds like I missed alot of fun... The car was acting like a little funny.... still have that nosie from my Pinion Bearing.. I think it is actually getting worse! But that's ok I'll be hooking up with Tony shortly to get that all fixed up along with some other stuff! Dam with the way it sounds I could have been $100 richer thanks to Bruce!!! J/K! I wish I could have made it though.... So when will the next meeting be if there is one?

Guess I got you nervous leaving a second earlier than you ... that's the advantage of running a V6 ...
Anyway, wouldn't have mattered, I had you on the ET/DialIn, too ... here's the slip data:
9.50 Index 10.40
.337 RT .651
2.580 60' 2.430
76.27 MPH 65.40
9.808 ET 10.545
Even with a perfect .500 ET, with your .308 over, my .145 would have won ... oh well - lost to that puny CRX ... by breaking out ...
Hope it was fun none the less ... next time, I'll give you a hard time with the HP/cui, too ... my '79 will be up and running, waiting for some breakfast

You´re right, I think it´s ever hard to wait when the other car leaves. But about the .3 over you can see it at the mph that I shift early and didn´t try so hard to catch you because I saw the RED light.
But I had my fun anyway.
And I think it´s harder to loose against a Honda than against a real car - I feel with you.
It will be nice when you come with your ´79 next time. New cars maybe better, but (I don´t know if I can say this here?) - I like older cars (late ´60 early ´70 much more.
What cui/HP do you have in your ´79?

Supposed to be a 350 - anyway, the last owner didn't seem to know much about the car, so we need to see when we pull it apart what all has been done ... about the HP - no idea ... there's quite a bit of Edelbrock in there, so the original 170hp on the papers will be wrong ... It's running too well for 170 ...

Then let´s surprise you.
When you need some parts, let me know ,a friend of mine (the guy with the red, I think ´79 too, Camaro) have a lot of parts (mostly used) in his barn.

Sounds good ... I guess sometime around November or so we should have most of the stuff taken apart, then we will know what requires replacement, what should be upgraded, and what would be nice to get ... currently, I'm looking for either a GFK flipfront or at least GFK hood ... got an offer for a 70-73 flipfront, but I don't like the looks ...
