You're doing it right, except for one thing - you are using geocities, and IIRC they don't like their webspace being "abused" by people storing pics and stuff with them but referencing it from somewhere else ... get some space somewhere else, or use the new site's picture upload function ...

Sorry to inform you that yahoo, too, does not want foreign referers ... this is the message you get when accessing the image:
You must supply a local referer to get URL '/users/941aae09/bc/My+Photos/MyZ.jpg?bc.eQb7AO_6BSD_w' from this server.

Do a "shift-reload" on the frame with the picture in it - when your browser has to load the image again, it will get the error message from Yahoo instead ...

Oh well, I don't feel like screwing around with another host, so I'm gonna leave it alone for a while..... :)

I havent had a problem... I use fortunecity.com to host my personal web site for free, and copy and paiste the properties of the image I want to use: [ img ] http://url properties here [ /img ]. Thats for anyone who didnt know. I think if everyone had a small pic of their ride in their sig, it would be a whole lot easier to know each other. If anyone is unsure how to do this, email me a pic of your car and I will host it on my site and give you the properties so you can add it to your sig...

You can upload pics to the member section - if it's not from your car, just de-select the checkbox ... that way it won't be displayed randomly on your member entry ...

This Blaze Board SW is pretty neat ... I've gone through several different SW packs before, but this one's the best ... and guess what - the guys are working on the 2.0 release - and from what I've seen and read, it rocks!
