Hey man, is your T56 aftermarket? If so, I might have a ripper shifter for you. Let me know!!

Well, the thing is, I won an auction on ebay for the ripper, and when I got it, it didn't fit. I called B&M, and they said that it was for an aftermarket Borg Warner transmission.

???????? other than bell housing, and some synchro differances I thought they were the same also. Maybe since Tremac bought out Borg-Warner specs have changed??

I'll put it this way, the part # is different, and the base of the one that I have to sell is just a wee bit smaller than my new one..

No Jack, my T-56 is out of a 94 Z28. Maybe it will fit a LT1 T-56? I know the LT1 T-56 and LS1 T-56 have some differences. No clutch fork, different bellhousing, who knows??

Hey if it doesn't work in randy's car how much do you want for it. If your not going to sell it don't worry about it.

Hey they won't let you turn in back in for the correct one. Or give them the part # so you can find out what car it does go to.

All they told me was that it was for aftermarket transmissions. The part # is 45053
