Kind of sucks. No winter tires. Just the 275/40 17 Dunlop SP 9000 Sports. As long as the snow isn't packed and slick and uphill I am OK.

I am good as long as I have momentum, but SO2s weren't made for snow, that's for sure!! :)

Go to go! I'll run that hopptie in the snow :) Actually I am quite impressed with the performance of the Camaro in the snow. As long as you drive it like it is in the snow, it does very good. I have already passed several people that I thought were driving way to slow! Probably it's over weight problem.

Are you basing that on the fact that I pushed you out 2 hours ago? :P

to bad they don't make a 275/40/R17 snow tire. If they made these we probably wouldn't have had the problems we did last night. And if they do make them I'm just not up on my tire knowledge. It made laughs.

You're right, Ryan! It wouldn't make sense, due to the fact that narrow tires cut through the snow better. Wide tires have too much contact area, allowing them to slide easier! ;)

I think the only way a set of 275's would make good snow tires is if they came with 1" studs..........

Well actually I was talking about people like us that are to stuborn to put stupid looking rims on there cars to allow us to have skinny snow tires. However the tread pattern on a snow tire is a lot different from all seasons or just summer tires. If they did make a set even though the tire is still wide you would be able to tread snow a hell of a lot better. Just a thought that will never happen.

You're right about the tread pattern, but why use it on a wide tire?? I just need to get some tires for my extra wheels!! :(

Just put some 215s on those salad shooters and hit the snow. It worked for me last year.

At least the car has had a couple good years already ... the interior seems to be intact, so hopefully the passengers didn't get hurt too much ...

That accident looks as if he was traveling way to fast for that car in those conditions. It looks like the frame is fubar'd in that car....
