Ok people, today is the greatest day cause i finally found what i've been looking for, for quite some time now.

I got myself a COMPLETE 95 Lt-1 package with the T56 and everything with just 39K miles (according to them ...)
This package includes EVERYTHING, down from the radiatorto the driveshaft.
I already had a T56 (bare, just the transmission and bellhousing + shifter) waiting for me in the US but since Jeff was BADLY needing a replacement he can buy that one for a good price.

Now, the big question:

HOW do we get that stuff (complete engine, accs, 2x tranny's, driveshaft, etc.) here ???

I know that some of you folks have had engine blocks shipped to Germany, can you guys fill me in ?
I know George had all his stuff shipped by Fedex BUT it was send (his new suspension parts) by Jim Pace and they seem to have a special account at Fedex which results in a Huge discount.

Anybody ? Any advise ?

P.s. We'd like to have it here asap as Jeff's inspection is due in february 2002 and he would like to have his car fixed then.

Thanks in advance,

Sergio

Holland is OUT OF THE QUESTION !
You don't wanna know how much import tax is around here, i might aswell sell my car and by a C5 :)
I do not have the luxury of dodging that tax being a military like you guys have.

Tony might be a good source for information, anybody have his phone number ???

Come on people, i know that some must have had some big stuff shipped outside of the APO, help us out please !

Burlington air express BAX Is the best way to go it must be delivered to the air freight terminal just about anywhere you can pick it up at the air freight terminal just about anywhere sounds like $600-750 would be my guess.
