I will race you this spring.... Heads up.... We will match time slips w/video so that we can see the runs? Sound like fun? That is the best I can do since I will not be close to Germany in the spring..

what are you, the yardstick against which all must be measured?...J/K
Seriously though, I think you'd be good for a laugh, but lets do it as realistically as possible. If its track against track, then you must set the date and the run before hand(doesnt have to be same day but within 7days sounds fair) that way the person cant just run 10 runs then say oh by the way, I was faster because of this (produces some old timeslip). You could say lets run 4 times for example, then compare the 4 slips as if you did run together in order or just one. The PA vs. N/A would have to be agreed if it was on or off, then on the honor system.

Well, what I was thinking and what Bruce is all about is ET. Run it whenever, wherever as long as it is a fair and legal run, best time slip wins. This would not matter if you are power adder or NA, just good ole fashion who is faster.
Is this what you meant Bruce?

Nope just talking smack the board has been a little slow. However I was thinking like George faster timeslip wins the post the timeslip race. I may talk smack but I think I am pretty honest. Dave just be prepared when we line them up I will have $200 bones on the Hawk. wanna play?

good to hear..... I was hoping it was this way, just trying to keep it honest.
If all I have to do is run one good time and post it, well then no prob
you want to do 200 bones for the fastest slip????? I mean, you will have 500+ hp and all????
Jamey, I reserve you to a street race, 1/4 on a VHT track is alittle more than I can chew

Rob we need to line them up for the bones. I would be poor if I got into paying $200 to everybody with a faster timeslip. However you can talk smack if you turn the #'s. My car will be set up pretty tight so I am shooting for 11's with a 125 MPH or which sounds better 200KPH trap speed that will be the top of 4th @6800 w 3.73 gears if I did the math correct. Then I will go looking for a 911TT on a straight a-bahn.

Bruce, tighten up your suspension, and go for him in the twisties, too!! J/K, I know our cars couldn't possibly hang with an AWD TT Porsche!! Sucks, but it's true!

I am sure he will feel pretty bad when I put a couple car lengths on him on some straight a way. He will have at least a $100,000 more invested than me. I will let him have the twistees next year. But next year (03)I was looking at the LG motorsports coil over suspension system with a brake upgrade.

I am up for this also. Bring it on!!! I will get back and get some practice on a track and start stomping some people!!
I like the LG coilover kit. It's just out of the budget right now. But hopefully it will be in it sometime.

I just want to drive again. I'm about ready to take the motor out of my station wagon just so I can cruise again.

My plan is that as soon as I get back I'm bringing the car back from the dead. I'm going to start with cleaning and poloshing and then I'm going to cover the main body and start pulling the motor. I'm really at that point now where I really want to get it running. I know this might sound a$$ backwards but also when I get back i'm going to order the SS Rims. Talk to you later.
