I went to the shoppette while on CQ the other day and I bought the fast and furous on DVD. Within the first ten minutes I knew I wanted to sell it. This film just about made me sick to watch it. And the worst thing is the soldiers walking by were saying comments like. ( I had a friend with that same wing and his shi$ was Fast as Hell). So pretty much I had to do everything in my power to bight my tounge and not say some smart azz comment. There's nothing worse than waiting to see a movie for a long time to have it completely suck. As everyone said the only good part of the movie is when he raced his dads car and they desroyed that instead of the Supra. I guess the world of racing is going to crazy paint, big fins and a lot of stickers. I'll sell this to anyone for 10 bucks if they want it. I know this topic is way out of date but I had to post it so Back Off. J/k The movie SUCKED!!!!!!!

Don't worry, I understand that wood burns far better than the Farce and the Futile DVD. The film was so incredibly bad, so riddled with pathetic cliches and they even totalled a Charger... can you really forgive them?

I can't understand how Universal could pulblish a movie based on pure BS. I guess the people that drift on the ricer side of the house got what they wanted. They got one hell of a fictional movie. If his dads car was a nine second flat car then how did a 10 sec supra keep up and win the race at the end. I guess the movie was souly geared towards making four cyl look fast. The way you all posted is the way the buying order go's in. I know I'm ranting an raving I just can't stand waiting for ever and a day to see somthing that sucks. The same thing goes for that movie Unbreakable I waited and it SUCKED.

They did try to come clean with the price lists.

$80k to make a fast eclipse?????? I know with $10.00 and a stick of juicy fruit you can make a supra run low 12's, even a last gen RX7 is a runner, but a civic??WTF!! I make more power at idle than a civic at WOT!!!

How about that skyline? Yeah, I would wander over to the dark side for a skyline ;)

......any hoo, I just watched the movie, and yeah it was BS, but where else can you hear people use the word <-?? "Nawws" over and over?(I hate that) BTW N20 is not flammable, so will people quit pretending it is!!!!!

Take me off the list I bought the last copy last night at our BX.

I'm not saying that I like the movie because of the ricer cars... I like it because of the racing. I can watch just about any type of racing.... I don't care if their ice cream trucks I'll still watch. Thats about the only reason I liked (or want to watch) the movie. But Rob you are correct I have no clue how the Supra kept up....... Also I thought the wheelie was a little over done........ but that's just my opinion.

Ryan, I think you would have been a little happier if you would have seen it in the theater with us. Sure, parts of it were slightly far-fetched, but overall, it was a cool ass movie! :)

Oooh, matron, that film was a complete carry-on. Did that Charger pull the slowest wheelie in history or was that really an edited crane hoisting it up. Did you note that the 3 Civic heist employed the Smokey and the Bandit "cat's in the cradle" lorry stunt albeit faster and better - but then throwing a Civic about is a touch easier than a ten ton Trans Am (9 ton without Burt Reynolds in it). By the way, Harry Potter is crud as well...er, not that I went to see it you understand...

Some people want 100% accuracy, but the fact is, Hollywood is made up, and hardly any of what you see is real!!! I go to a movie(or rent one) hoping to enjoy it, and if I do, I'm happy. If I really like a movie, I will buy it!

The special effects in the movie were awesome, and it might not have been what some wanted to see, but that doesn't matter. It was obviously geared toward the import crowd, and they enjoyed the hell out of it. Was it a success? The answer is YES! :)

Guerard, you are not the only who thinks it sucks Big Time !
Jack and the other TFAF fans can say what they want but just the acting alone is so bad it's not even funny !
Not too mention the dumbass truck hijacking method and the other 144 mess up's.

IMO This movie can only be entertaining to 14 year old kids who don't have a license yet and think 'Type R' is some sort of turbo that can be put on any car.

This movie also clearly shows the ignorance when it comes to Nitrous. They all call it NOS while (as we all know) NOS is just a company and you simply don't use NOS but Nitrous Oxide.
Furthermore i think this movie endorses stealing and drugsdealing as it's pretty cool to serve people in a speed shop who carry stacked 100 dollar bills.

I consider buying that DVD a crime on it's own )

they called it "Naawwwzz" ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fingers on the chalkboard!!!!!!!

I still like his dual bottle, dual stage, direct port kit with aux fuel supply, that is so high speed you have to push the buttons for each stage. Guess he blew is wad on the stickers, and couldnt afford a WOT switch or a mastermind. :)

Thanks, you are right Sergio, I can.

The Fast and Furious was geared toward the Latino community, so I'd say it was pretty successful.

I think if you watch a movie for its realism, then you should never pick up any movies with titles like "Gone In 60 Seconds" or "The Fast and Furious." These movies were made to get people to watch them and discuss them. They were also made to stir up the import craze.

As far as TFAF is concerned, I thought it was a good movie. It did have some unbelievable parts, but storyline and racing scenes were cool as hell. They did there part, I mean everyone who is talking sh!t about the movie did spend some form of time or money watching it.

I stick to what I said earlier, I liked the movie, I will buy it from you Ryan.........
