Has anyone around here (Spangdahlem, Bitburg area) noticed that there is about 3 or 4 new Camaros and TA's around here. I have spooken to the owner of a 98 WS6 who got here in August and knew nothing of the club so I gladly abbliged him with all of the info.... he is interested in joining..... there is also rumors of a 4th gen Fire Hawk running around here as well as a new 98 or newer Z28 and a 99 or 2000 SS around here as well. Oh yeah and another 97 or 96 TA maybee a formula (don't know if they make those anymore.... not to up on my Firebird lingo) that sounds Really! Beefy running around here as well..... I always pass these people going the opisite direction. Just a little FYI for all of us over here that didn't notice yet.

I noticed that LS1 WS6 a while ago. There is a black z sitting at the shipping yard waiting to get picked up. The pewter firebird convertible belongs to a guy in my shop. Makes me miss my car even more

I've seen the peweter TA a few times he's going through ALS with me right now. The owner of the Z that's up at the lot hasn't even made an effort to get it yet..... they haven't even herd from him yet.

I saw a red LS1 Z28 being dropped off this week and the person already picked it up. Plus I saw what I believe to be a Z06 vette that arrived here and the person already picked it up also. It is silver and has a coul induction hood. It looks mean as hell just sitting there. Can't wait to run it. The reason I believe it is a Z06 is it has the vents right behind the front tires. I am probably wrong, but I thought I read that is how you know that it is a Z06 vette.
Hey Scott, how's school treating you? long time now hear. Peace.

It has look @ me Z06 badges and will be a hard top with trunk not a hatch back. FYI I will stomp him this summer if he is brave enough to play LOL.

Krazy.... the guy with the new WS6 is his buddy... I don't think it is a Z06 though... I got up close and personal with it the other night... (I was just sccopeing it) it parks over by you at night.... (outside your office by where ROY parks his P.O.S. truck all of the time). That hood makes it look mean as all he// ! But like I said unless he took the badges off (which would be dumb a$$).... then I don't think it's a Z06 but it does have the right rims!!!! Hmmm I guess I'll just have to find him and give him the shake down!

Like I said I don't know to much about the vette's. All I know is it was silver, hard top, had the vents behind the front wheels, cowl induction hood (looked sweet as hell), nice rims, and painted calipers. I just looked it over as I walked by it. I never actually got close to it. I did notice that it is parked near my work almost every day. Maybe I will wander over and get a better look see. Besides badges, how can I tell if it is a Z06 or not from looking at the outside or in through the windows?
Either way it is the best looking vette I have seen in a long time. I'm not much of a vette fan, but this one definitley caught my eye. Peace
Oops, just re read the posts, I will look to see if it has a trunk or hatch the next time I see it. Do only Z06's have trunks?

On the way back from Tony tonight, I passed two Camaros - a red one, and a pewter (I think) SS (not sure if it was really an SS - rear spoiler looked like an SS, but due to darkness an rain, I couldn't tell from the front ...) - actually took me a while to get by the second - he first passed me shortly after Mannheim @ 120 or so, and I had too many idiots who thought driving 70 on the left of the three lanes is fast enough ...

Jack , yeah that is a good one ,but it is a mod that a lot of vette owners do. The most expensive one to copy besides the engine that can be recognize is the Titanium exhaust.
But having a cowled hood on a ZO6 leads suspect to it not being a ZO6. But I could be wrong.
