Addicted to Kazaa, me, the 12th Duke of Lichfield, with my reputation? Difficult to find but I've got also Enkindels "Camaros Forever", "Johnny's Camaro" by David Wilcox (painfully funny but true), The Hooligans "Orange Camaro" and "Camaro Mullet Love" by er.. someone or other. I also found "Jean Claude Trans Am" by Fenix TA (although references to said car seem missing)(ditto Orange Camaro). David Wilcox's "Blow 'Em Away" is not about F-bodies but it is F-body sentiment about people getting in your way. Add This Is How You Remind Me by Nickelback just because it's a great track and similarly there are some great Creed tracks like My Sacrifice that suit the LS1 mood. Hope this helps. My mate reckons Lion "Where's The Fire" is also a great track but I can't find it. Must admit I downloaded Crawlin by Linkin Park and deleted it as it was a bit weak-kneed a prissy for my liking. If there's any demand, I can burn these suckers for a nominal cost although clearly this is for your own personal use. Go on, save yourself 50 hours downloading. Thanks AOL for the free 100 hours and ....see ya! Now all I've got to put up with is the juxtaposition between these tracks and the Barney songs my daughter demands but hey, if you're happy and you know it clap your hands.... |

Some corrections. "Camaro Mullet Love" is by the Hooligans and "Orange Camaro" is by the Gramercy Riffs. By the way, "Racing In The Streets" is Bruce Springsteen - unless Roger Taylor has stolen the title and I'm sure Rog wouldn't do that. To update, I've also fed in 'Chevy' as a search word and have come up with a shed load of tracks that I'm in the process of downloading. Will keep ya posted. |

Me again. Just a warning to KaZaA users that if you're offered an improved version, don't download it. I had terrible problems booting my computer afterwards and Norton AntiVirus had been mysteriously disabled. No viruses. Eventually managed to restore it using system restore and deleting KaZaA which apparently has spyware so use Grokster in preference (same thing, no spyware). You have been warned. On a more positive note, I downloaded some Chevy songs like Riding in my Chevy, Dead In My Chevy and Ridin in da Chevy but as Bob Geldof once sang "It's a Rap Crap and you've been caught!". There was a Ramones style track by the Gotohells called Chevy II Nova from an album called Six Packs and Race Tracks which was more the type of thing for our cars. Incidentally the Ramones also have Go Lil Camaro Go. |

Nope don't need any cd's.. unless you have a preference. I am using the Imation CD-R 700 MB / 80 MIN. Ran into a discrepancy... on of the songs cut off in the middle of the recording, so I gotta scrap a few cd's and start over. Should have them in the mail on Mon morning. I think I will be driving to Ramstein on Tues, anyone want one hand delivered? I am not sure of the times that I will be there. But it will save a few days in the mail. I will even autograph it while I am there. ![]() RT1 |

If one of your files cut off in the middle, make sure you're not downloading off someone with a firewall. Kazaa and Grokster have an option you can tick to stop such downloads. Another two tracks that appeared recently are The Trans Am Song by Structure Fire which is a punky thing which I succeded in downloading and Camaro Kanitou by Psygon that I missed but am waiting for it to resurface. |

Post subject: | two more ... |
Caught two more on the radio over here ... One by a guy named Anderson (sp?), called "Money in the Bank", mentions a Z28, and another "It's a long way to richmond" mentions a Firebird ... for you metal guys, both are Country style music, so ... |

Post subject: | Kazaa Lite |
Just a note for you downloaders. If you search for Kazaa Lite, you get a hacked version of Kazaa that deletes spyware and adverts. I had a lot of problems with Kazaa before and Grokster and I think they were conflicting with AOL's startup. I learnt the hard way by having to reformat and reload and discovering that these two were the common factor. I now use Firenet which has no problems bar a 10 minute cutoff when no activity is detected which p*ss*s me off as it takes an age to reconnect even when the cinternet connection is up and running. There are no particular downsides to Kazaa Lite except it seems the search is a bit slower. May be just me. |
