One of our own today hit the wall hard at the ring. Both people are alright but I believe the car is totaled. It looks like the left front tire had an explosive deflation while making a right hannd turn . I'll let Mike explain it in detail if he wants.
But thank goodness noone was actually injured except for some seatbelt marks.

Done heard from Silke ... a shame - heard the car had a nice airbrush on the hood, fenders and doors ... I guess the 'ring ain't nothin' for show cars - or show car drivers ...

Post subject:  hello everybody!!

i have been doing the ring for quite many a years now. the nurburgring is no joke.

it is used by advanced and pro level people on two wheels as well as four.

having your f body set up right is critical.
it has too fit the way you drive.

i have seen many crashes both bikes and cars often while i am going down the road at a rate of speed i'd rather not say.

drive withing your limits, and the limits your vehicle and of your environment.

this sounds repetitive, but this get's some one every time.

this includes the limits in your head. your skills, ability and mental clarity.

we all need to look out for each other. i don't know the full details of what happened, but if a seasoned driver took him around the course this accident could have been avoided.

then again he simply might not have taken any advise and "done his own thing". this is a common thing.in that case he refused any instruction. and asked for it.

again i don't know the full details, but look out for each other when possible. and stay away from those who won't listen.

I like to take this time and thank everyone who voiced a wonderful insight into accident . It was refreshing . Do remember though that Mikes left tire blew while making a right hand turn. All the experience in the world won't save your azz from the armco barrier when it is two meters away.
Bottom line it was a single vehicle accident on a private road.
