Hey man I was checking out the main board tonight and I found this. I figured you would like to check this out since you were telling me about it a while back. This guy has a 396LT1 and he has the OPTI Eliminator (coil packs I believer there called) Pretty sweet engine I wish I had it.

I wish I had the money to afford somthing like that. I figure I'll wait and see how it works on other individuals cars before I think about trying it.

Save a little here and there. You'll be surprised how quickly it adds up. You just have to be disciplined enough to not spend it.. ;)

Keep your opti. It doesnt go out as much as most people would have you believe. It was just the flavor of the month in engine diagnostice IMO.

I would probably take the $300+ leap into this new generation of boxes however. The MSD DIS series really have some cool features. I really like my DIS 6 (2 rev limiters, spark retard function) nice piece.

Rob- I think it's a nice looking setup while the engine is out of the car i'm pretty sure it makes life difficult while inside the car. I agree with you on the opti my car is 6 yrs old and I only replaced the opti once I guess I really can't complain. I do like that msd ingnition but the price is up there.
