| Post subject: | Nightlife at Spang |
I was just wondering what the nightlife is like in the Spang/Bitburg area. There are only 2 nightclubs on the island. One is super "special"  on the weekends and the other wore out out after being there twice.
While I am asking stupid questions... -How far away is the Nurnburgring[spelling?] -What is the best town/place to live in the area? -Does anyone over there play ice hockey? Thanks for any info. Later:-burnout: |

The Nuerburgring is 40 miles/64 km away. It's FUN (I can tell you that as I'm a Nuerburgring addict).

Nuerburgring is about 30-45 minutes away. Night life here, depends on what you are in to. If you like R&B clubs, you will fit in at kajutes on fridays and Castel's on saturday. A lot of younger age (16-20) there. There are several Irish Pubs around here. Also several techno/house clubs. NCO club on base hase careoke on thursdays and country night on fridays. As far as where to live, you just have to look around. There are so many small towns around here. You're shop should give you time off to look for a place. It is all cordinated through the housing office. I have no idea about ice hockey. You might have to go to Trier for that. Hope this helps. |

They have a hockey team in Bitburg only ten minutes from Spang. There are plenty of clubs it just depends on what you like. Make sure you take your time looking for a house there are alot of nice houses there you just have to be willing to look around. |
