Yep that's right. Well I decided to go out and do a quick run on my personal race track....you know to bang some gears. Wifey wanted to go so she played co-pilot but I knew I couldn't get dirty w/ her in the car even w/ the harnesses.

Well coming out of a blind hair pin I downshift and prepare for the bump in the road that I always screw up on. Hit it perfectly or so I thought and the rear suspension gave out! All I hear is a loud clunk and the grinding of gears at least thats what it sounded like. Every time I put it in 1st I had this grinding clunking sound coming from the wheels/ axle's. Got worse the more I stepped on it. So I limped her home and while I was thinking I couldn't be gears or could it? Since I always leave a small deposit of rearend fluid in the garage I figured oh well "must've ran out of gear fluid" :). NOT! Put her up on the jack stands and rotate the wheels still the same ole' sound but now the rear wiggles. Hmmm. Start the car and put her in 1st w/ little grinding but then I see the driveshaft w/ a slight wobble but that doesn't catch my eye though. I see this red bar bobbin up and down against the DS and what ya know? Broke the damn torque arm! BEYOTCH!!!!!! Love'd that damn thing too since I'm was the last one w/ it. Everyone else broke there's in launch's and I manage to break mine in the twisties.

Won't get to weigh her, do the vid, or get one last cruise. Well I could do all three but I'm not in the mood to buy another TA? Not til the I'm 1 month shy of returning from the former USSR.

Don't you love having that much power where you break sh!t that wouldn't normally break? What kind was it, just curious? I plan on getting me a spohn this winter.

Dave hope you are running by the time I get back. We need to do some stroker comparo's before you psc.

Jack I know but it's truly intended for Drag only. Ya know that ain't me. You see the rear bar for that thing?!

She'll be on jack stands for 6 mos. When I return since I'm under there I'll be doing both fuel pumps too since the TA snapped it'll be a breeze to remove.

Sorry you can't enjoy the last real event man. I know how it feels, and I also know that this isn't the first time for you, either! :( It's gonna be off the hook next year. ;)

Sorry to hear about that John. Pretty soon you'll be down to a tube chasis, and one off pieces everywhere :).

I know you want stuff that lends itself more to the twisty stuff, maybe Kenny Brown could help you out?

G'luck

Yeah I was looking at their TA unit. Firechicken has it I believe.. Only reason no opting for it is because it's not adj. I still want to adj for when I do have a wild hair up my ass and wanna drag it. Their TA is proven though and I like that as well.
