Call this guy. We saw him today and he has a 396 in his impala SS. He also is running a 22psi turbo. He had problems with getting his to run the first time. He said you can call him. His name is HEINZ SCHENK

Willis was the one who introduced us... His car is cool, but 561HP with a 396 on 22 PSI of Turbo? That seems low...

Um I do believe there is a small difference in the way horse power is measured in Germany. But you also got to remeber his torque is over 600 ft lbs. 22lbs is a lot of boost Iwould expect some where in the neighbor hood of 800 hp.

Dont want to split hairs, espicially when I dont have all the facts, but 22psi on a 350/355 is alot differant than 22psi on a 396. One of the technicians at IRS gave me a big lecture on it, but the bottom line was 12psi on a 396 would equate down to about 2-3psi. That does seem low on HP, and I know that stroking a motor also increases compression, so 22psi on a 396, what kind of compression does he have??? 7:1!!! Most 396ers seem to way in at around 11 to 13:1.
