Man we've had a wet weekend.
Friday night I drove 300 miles south. I thought it was going to take forever with the rain, but luckiliy it cleared. But my Z loves to float when theres a bit of water on the road. Each time I hit the water, those big tyres are like a jet boat.
Then on Saturday LuS1fer and I were going to have a blast at the Drag way. It should have been called synchronised swimming it was that wet.
So I never got chance to see what I can do the 1/4 in (when I say I - it would have been my wife, Lynne, as she wouldn't let me have the keys until she's had a go!!).
Talk about a Drag Queen or what.
Next time LuS1fer - get your engine a ready!!!!

Don't know about engine, I'll need to get my nerves unshredded. I went up to Chester instead. The car was flawless in laying down massive acceleration on demand. Some dope in a Golf GTi overtook a stream of traffic and ran out of road and had to push his way in. I got behind him and he was jinking back and forth like a yappy little terrier, looking for that gap. In the end I gave him a full main beamer and blew his fackin' doors off. On the way back, I came down through the twisty-turny very wet roads of mid-Wales. I scared myself silly. This suspension just feels like it wants to throw itself into oversteer all the time and the back end skated a few times. This is not a car for wet winding Welsh roads with dodgy cambers. I kept wanting an Evo VII so I could feel safe when I go fast. Even had to let a Prelude go as I didn't feel I had the grip to be racing him.

I like the humidity there and the rain in Florida is the right temperature to take a shower...
