sure, but the winter might not be the best time for that ... many people got the car stored (or at least de-registered) ... I'd sure like to find out some time, what HP my 79 has ...
Also, where? Reliable numbers?

But where? Do you know of a place? I'm sure there are many of us who would like to know...

There are two dynos here in Coburg:
One at a bosch dealer, but it just records horsepower, no torque.
30EUR per run, but i´m not sure if it really exists, just heard of it... ;)
The other one is at a workshop dealing with Ferrari, Porsche and other sportscars. Good for up to 1000hp :D I don´t know their prices, but a friend told me its OK.

But nevertheless, Coburg is a bit too far away for most of you...?

Sounds like a good idea for the spring. I'd be interested.

You silly people. I wouldn't dyno something this time of year. Even if I had something to dyno. Give me till spring time and I'll be breaking your dyno machines.

Dave, my car is parked till at least March 1st - season registration ... and the old '79 I'd have to tow to a place, but the CHerokee isn't registered yet, either ... so ... no dyno for me ...

I would definitely do it, but I wouldn't drive 300 miles. :)

I would like to dyno in the winter as well as the summer, just so I could see the variances first hand! I always hear others say what their car does during different weather conditions, but I want to know what MY car does :) I also would not drive 300 miles for just a dyno run, although, this summer, can anyone say FIELD TRIP!!!

What I meant to say was that I wouldn't drive 300 miles in the Winter, for a dyno run. :)
