8) Here is my new FBody Jerry got me for Christmas. It's really cool. It burns a mixture of methanol and nitromethane. Speed - up to 55 mph.

Linda, this is coooooool (as my daughter would say)
I like it. And the color matches.

In fact, there is some talk to set up a model dragracing track...
besides the big one. You may want to train reaction time,

and... no this is no joke.

Did you put it together yourself or did it come painted? Still working on mine, got to get a set of 35th decals ... got a 1:18 model (I think) that came with the decals, need to get them printed at 1:10 scale ...

Mine came just a clear plastic, it came with decals for window trim and lights but NO stripes so I had to make a mask for them and then paint the car red, black and then paint the stripes. Jerry bought me another camaro body the same incase I screwed up so I am going to do it a bit different and take more time with it. I have a few different types of maskes so I am trying to figure out the best one to cut the stripes with. I have already used Zaino on it, and it works. I love the car, I have used most of the fuel he bought already so I know I will be back at the hobby shop soon... I don't know if I want to race it as I am not that good with it but I do like to play so who knows... Gary when you get yours up and running I would love to see them, are they electric or gas?

Who makes them and where do you get them from?

Same here, it's the same body kit ... I started to wonder, though the one rear picture didn't look like the stripe was a sticker ...

Do you have some high detail masks you could scan in or something?

I guess that shows dedication ... zainoing a model car ... :D

I only got one actual car, it's a gas one, and it's running, though not quite as strong as yours ... don't think it'll run that fast ... also, having some minor problems with it pushing oil out of the connection between motor and exhaust, instead of only out of the exhaust pipe ...

Garry, for the mask, I took some pictures of my car and then we played with the sizes on the printer until we got it the right size. We used that as a template for the mask. We made the mask out of some sticky stuff, but you could probably use clear contac paper. We have a Mercedes body that we bought on sale that we are going to try that on.

On your oil leak out of the exhaust connector, does it have zip ties on the connector? If not, you might be able to put zip ties on it to tighten it up so the oil will be forced into the muffler. My car had them on it.

Lusifer, The kit is made by HPI. The one we ordered was the ready to run kit. It was almost ready to run, not counting the body. There was about 2 hours of work getting it ready, except for the body. The body is clear, so you can paint it whatever color you want. We ordered this one from http://www.towerhobbies.com. There are probably some places in England that have them. If you go to http://www.hpiracing.com, there is a link to their European site which has some dealers listed on there. Hope this helps out. If you have any questions, please let me know and we will try to help you out. It is a lot of fun.

I almost bought a factory race version of the Associated TC3 when I was home, but since I sold my old RS4, I'd have to start all over again. I felt the money could be better spent elsewhere. It sure is a fun hobby, though.
