I know most of you guys get a lot of snow....... But here where I live we don't. I have been complaining all year that I want to see some snow, and I got it today. It started about 9:00 this morning, and snowed until 4:00 this afternoon. The nashville metropolitan area got 7.5 inches of snow!!!!! Here's a pic
On my way home from work, I got stopped on an incline by traffic. The car wouldn't go anymore, it just slid!!!! So I backed up and got off the road as much as I could and left it. I was lucky enough to find a nice couple that gave me a ride home. The wouldn't accept any gas money or coffe or hot tea. They are definitely two of the nicest people I have met. I just got a ride out to the car in my brothers Jeep Wrangler. I shoveled the snow away from my tires, got a push from my brother and roommate, and I was off!!! I went up the hill, making sure I didn't stop or slow down. I just made it back to the house. Now I can't get the car into the garage!!! The snow is piled up. Once again, it just slides. I guess I'll have to go shovel the driveway, but I'm just glad I have the car home safe and sound.
I also had to get my mothers car and her friends. They were trying to get up the steepest hill on the road they were on. People started sliding back so they just parked their cars too. Since they parked the roads were salted, so it was no big deal. My moms car (Jaguar XJ6) does much better in the snow than my car does. [/url]
