My question to all of you is what insurance company are you going thru for your F-Bodys? I spoke to USAA and they quoted me $1900 a year. Now my Camaro is still back in the states but I hope to bring it to Belgium this summer. I am over teh 25 mark. Thanks in advance.

What does your record look like? Also the longer you stay with USAA the lower the monthly payments.

Depends on the yr. Me a 93Z full coverage pay 600 a yr. Of course I'm 30 something yrs old too. :) So that helps along w/ multiple cars and a wife over 30 something.

Being married will drop it in half. I'm going back to USAA. $1500 a year and that is way better than what I am paying now. That's a steal for a car with no engine, huh?

That really surprises me from USAA. I am paying a little under $1000 with USAA for mine, but I have three cars with two drivers. Also, I am well over 25 (more than double). Your rates will go down over time with USAA if you have a low claims history. Just food for thought. USAA is a great company to deal with as long as your claims aren't too often. If they are, they will eventually cancel you or the rates will go up a lot.

Hm... guess I can't complain ... ;) Using a rather "old" insurance (17 years without claims), insurance for my Camaro (liability and full coverage) runs somewhere in the 400€ range for 8 months ...

Thanks for the replies. I am stationed in Belgium right now so I think that is playing a major role in the insurance quote. I am married btw. My insurance was cheap as hell in the states but it will go back up to single rates again over here. :? I also have a Saturn which is the primary driver and still it is high. I may look into local insurance and see what I can find. Being without my V8 is killing me.

Hi, I have USAA. It was costing me around $1,590 a year up til last month. We just bought a hooptie, and it dropped the overall price of our policy to around $1,300. So, food for thought, Bring the camaro, and think about getting s hooptie. Register the hooptie as the daily driver, and the Camaro as a recreational vehicle. Hope this helps!

I have a 97 Saturn that I told them was my everyday car. All it did was lower the price on my Saturn. Go Figure. :? Bringing the car over is still in the works thou. Got to find the best price to ship the car over. Best I got is $900 out of Baltimore.
