Broke it on the first run at the track. I felt it go in the first 60 ft. It also tore up my DS a little bit. I am looking for a replacement. Still cut a 2.1 60 on street tires, and went 13.0 at 110, when I let out a momentarily when I felt it go. Bruce what kind do you have again? Who did you talk to to get that military discount on it? Jeff I had a Flow Tech w/ the slider arm like the old Spohn style TA lasted me 5 yrs before breaking. Spohn has a new style w/ rod ends dual adj w/ the loops for 450.00 then they have the chromoly version for a little more. People are breaking them w/ stk applications maybe it's a string of bad luck I don't know. Can't remember what bruce has but I remember the design and it' was made for his rear. Dual rod ends and very beefy. Almost the same style as the Spohn but different mounting locations. It really depends on what you want to do and how far you want to go. If don't ever want to break a TA again then there is only 1 choice really. MADMAN! LG is the arm I have now and it's a nice unit esp since I got it for dirt cheap during their Xmas sale. The only other TA I'd put on my car if I break this one will be the Random Tech and nothing else. Flawless in design and cheap. No one has broke one yet and that's w/ drag, autox, rr on 800hp cars. I know you asked for Bruce but those are my choices. ![]() |

I appreciate your opinion. The main things I am concerned about are: cannot mount in the stock location on the tranny, cannot use the tunnel brace for as mount(I think thats why Spohns keep breaking) must be adjustable. I have heard good things about the random tech arm but the only one I have seen mounts in the stock location on the tranny. I have contacted Billingsly also. Thanks, Jeff |

I have a Chassis Engineering solid that tied everthing together. DS loop ties the SFC's together. Torque arm mounts to DS loop and SFC. It is a tad loud but it handles 4-5000 RPM dumps with street ET's. I will let you know how it does with the Drag ET's? |

Well, I ordered a Spohn adj. unit. Should be here Tuesday. Then going to the track this weekend and going to gun for a mid 12 pass. If I trap 110 on a 2.1 short time, I should be able to do it if easily if I can get a good launch---1.8 -1.9 Next phase- the refurbished N2O should be back by the following weekend and if this torque arm is as good as it is rumoured to be, I am going to spray out of the hole( Maybe see daylight under the front left?), and God willing the rear holds together, it should make for a 11 sec pass and get booted off the track for no helmet. If the rear end doesnt hold, then theres no better excuse for getting a 12 bolt than a broken rear. I'll keep you posted. Jeff |

Spraying off the line with a six speed. Yep that is a guaranteed rear end exploder for a stocker. Since yougot how how it will explode down , now all that is left is when . |
